It is an excellent option for children because it is effective, has a quick onset, is safe, and leaves the body within just five minutes after the dental procedures are completed.
General Anesthesia and Deep Sedation
Generally, deep sedation and general anesthesia should be administered intravenously by a certified dental anesthesiologist. This option is excellent for young children who need extensive dental work. It is also recommended for teenagers and adults who have a dental phobia.
